I thought there is a law stating a person has to have knowledge of a conversation being recorded or it's not submissable as evidence?

That's usually under wire tapping laws. In California, you must have the consent of both parties to record sound. They don't care about video except for the sound part. And informing a party of voice recording is not consent.

Rulings have been made that you can record your interactions with police officers if they know you are doing it. Consent is not needed from their party

Ok, I'm not getting the switch out of the gas cap.
They put a device on a Caprice wagon yet go to get it and it's on a 5th Ave.
Mike has no reason to ditch the wagon and keep the cap unless he knew it was a homing device.
Gilligan may have some 'splainin to do.

 

So they tracked both his cars. How they knew about the burner wagon, I don't know. Mike bought his own tracker set, replaced the gas cap on the chrysler with his and ran down the battery of the original so the people tracking him would replace it and take the old one. But the old one isn't really dead, it's the decoy and now Mike is tracking them.

 

Both hmmm. I guess.
He buys one for the wagon.....then leaves the Chrysler one at work. or switches the two out.
I have to watch again. They're replaying now.

End of show he leaves (some cap) behind. One is at work, they came and got new one. Battery is dead for one.

I'm not getting which one he left at the end then. Or why if he killed a battery. Oh well. If there's a foul up he'll hear about it. Gilligan is OCD about detail.

 

So next week has a BB character and they hinted Fring was later?
