    just found this informative thread - having same probs 1st w/ horn, then cc, and now that funny light is on w/ the person and a ball on their lap ... signals still working fine. Will go try the troubleshoot suggested to determine if spring vs airbag module.

    yes, get the codes through the procedure mentioned in post #14. It will be much easier to tell what is the problem once we know what the codes are

    Cant really find a write up on replacing the clockspring for first gens, on one second gen thread all they said they could find was a first gen write up but no link. I've read a couple write ups on second gens and I know theoretically it isn't that much different, just want to be bale to read the exact wires/clips I should be taking apart. If yall have a link handy could you send it? Thank you
