I'm trying to decide between two different suspension lifts. Both will be using SPC upper control arms and dakar leafs.

I keep going back and forth between the ome bp-51s and the fox level 3 with resi and compression adjusters (2.5s in front and 2s in the rears)

I know theres been a million of these threads but this is more than simply what's better... For me, both will be overkill off road and I'm ok with that...

Which one of these will be more plush on road? I think the fox"s but the ome's have the rebound adjustment as well...

And which one will last longer before breaking down?

bp51's are built around having a plate bumper/winch in the front, also they have compression and rebound dampening adjustments along with being a adjustable coilover. Personally I would go OME, your getting move for your money. There is a very large thread on adjusting the OME's with and without a plate bumper/winch etc.

    Yea I've read thru it...

With the ome you get the added adjustability, but the fox fronts are a 2.5 vs 2 (51mm) of the one...

Thars why I was more asking about on road character and life span of the two

life span no idea, I know icons have been having shorter than usual run times before rebuild. Look at what the recommended rebuild cycle is between the two.

It all depends on number of cycles and environment. One guy who goes off road in mud and dust a lot will have a much shorter lifespan than the guy who never goes offroad in a dry area like Utah. If you want to compare apples to apples then they both will probably be similar life between rebuilds. Longest life is gonna be throw away shocks like OEM or Bilstein 5100 or something. They are cheap and can go 90K miles or so before needing new ones. Heavy off road is where they will suffer more because of heat from repeated cycling.
    Pick your poison.

I have no clue why people run coilovers on these trucks. No way your getting any more than 30K miles max on any of them before needing a rebuild. If you do, buy a lottery ticket. I have 16K miles on my truck and its almost 1yr old. Cant imagine pulling the suspension off every 2 years to send it off for rebuild.

    I'm leaning towards the bp-51s...

Pretty sure im gonna go that way... It's probably just the brand name allure to the foxes that has me guessing the decision, along with the reputation of being probably the best in terms of on road

Pick the color you want. Personally I have King’s with adjusters and if your looking to save a little coin don’t get the adjusters. You will be able to fine tune it but once you do I bet you’ll never change them, so why spend the money.
Look at the valving, Progressive vs digressive vs linear, and think about what your do with your truck and which setup is the best.
