I have a 3" lift on my 01 tacoma for the last 40,000 miles or so and i was wondering today what were some good shocks to go with if i wanted to see if i could get a little smoother ride...i dont do intense off roading anymore but still do some light stuff and also haul my boat...currently have stock front shock and skyjacker hydro 7000 in the rear...is there anything out there that may give a slightly better ride quality?

So I am guessing that your 3" lift is some type of spacer lift?
New shocks will help a little, but really a new lift setup would be better as far as making the ride more comfortable.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.

    X2

Get some 5100's and new coils for the front and some 5100's and a AAL for the back you will be much happier with the ride.

Toytec is good, Down south motor sports, Wheeler's off road and tons others.

I would but online you will pay a lot more at a retail store.

5100's and the coil are for the front.

the AAL is for the back i suppose you could leave the blocks in the back and get away with doing just the front if you don't have the budget for everything.

also, in replacing the front shcoks with the 5100's, would i need to remove the spacers i already have? beacuse im reading that the 5100 could add 2.5" of lift to the front
