I’ve got a 2019 DBCL Sport and I wanted to get some advice on suspension.

My truck is 95% highway and city and none of the off-roading I do would require a lift. While I’m not planning on putting bumpers or a winch on my mall crawler, I am real close to ordering a Vagabond Drifter. I grew up with VW buses and vanagons but never had one of the westfalia editions with the tent on top. The Drifter would scratch that itch. This means I’d be adding 700lbs ish to my truck.

I would like to improve the ride quality especially on-road and prep the suspension to handle the extra weight.

was looking at fox 2.5 or the Kings. Want to keep it under $3k but don’t need to spend all that cash if there is a “good enough” less expensive alternative.

I also have a set of scs f5’s on order but haven’t ordered up the tires yet. I’m not planning to lift the truck but am willing to if needed.

    Hello sir!

if you are mainly looking for ride quality I would suggest this system with the link below. There’s a ton of info on these bad boys and a lot of tundra and taco guys go with this setup and be in full control of ride quality. Shoot me a message if you have any questions

Those look awesome but they cost almost as much as I paid for the truck. Looking for something on a budget if you know of anything. Simply looking for a better ride and handling. Any ideas appreciated.

You don’t need $3200 worth of shocks and coilovers. I’d call Toytec or headstrong tell them exactly how your planning using the truck and they can put something together for you and I bet it’s less than $3200
