Better than Toyota?

Whoa! Do we know each other?

 

Can honestly say this is a better color than the blue jean blue in the taco color lineup.

 

I'm pretty fond of the colour choices of Toyota as biased as I am. Ram has some pretty crazy truck colours but I could never subject myself to driving or owning a Dodge. I liked the maroon-purple colour or whatever it was that Chevy/GM put out a few years ago and they also did a pretty sweet green around the same time I think. It was a pretty close match to Imperial Jade Mica, maybe a little on the cooler side of the spectrum.

 

Toyota doesn’t take risks with colors, they just cold-calculate 1 vibrant color (ex: speedway blue for early 2nd gen, and then orange thereafter) for a vehicle and the rest are your bread and butter along with a couple earthy tones each model year. Otherwise every manufacturer copies one another. Example is pyrite. That color can be found throughout different manufacturer lineups around 2012-2014 time frame. Don’t see much of it anymore.
