Any chance of getting that closer pic of the front of the snorkel where you used the gasket material? Thanks

So sorry for not getting back to you sooner! I snapped some pics a while back, let me know if you want some more I'd be happy to take some and I'll get back to you sooner this time.

This was my first time using this stuff for something like this, and as such I made some mistakes that you can learn from! So I taped out an outline of the snorkel before I did it and that worked great, the only problem was that I let the FIPG sit too long before removing the tape, and thus ended up with a bit of an unclean line, since its more viscous. On the bottom, I took it off right away and ended up with a really clean line, hopefully you can tell from the pictures.

    Also sorry for the dirt.

The hardest part is dealing with the shipping companies, they work off a strange bidding / roster system that can take some getting used to. I used one of the bidding websites, I cant remember the name and I didn't get as low a price as I wanted... ended up calling individually 3-4 of the companies that bid on me and get harassing them for lower rates. After about 3 weeks I found a guy who was hauling my direction and got a good price, after that is was smooth sailing and the truck made it super fast.

If you're willing to wait a little while, you can get good prices. Just make sure to check the reviews of the people you are shipping with.

Whoops looks like it didn’t get my comment.

Sick rig, it looks close to mine. I just need those retrofits.

Love your truck especially those lazer cut letters. Pro tip for retrofits, dont go HID. It looks like one of the HIDs is out and no light shops wants to touch them since they are such a pain in the ass. I'm probably going to start searching for some LEDs.

Thanks man yours is awesome!! Those lights really give it another look. I’m wanting something similar to yours. I have heard HIDS suck so most likely when I get retrofits I’ll be getting led bulbs.

Haven't kept this build thread up but it's a great place to document things as I do them, so I would like to post a bit more.

Just got back from 10 days in the Oregon backcountry weaving together some trails from the Pacific Crest Overland Route (PCOR) and Oregon Backcountry Discovery Route (OBDR). Here's some of the best pictures of the truck.

Got the break-in the GFC, the new roofrack, the snorkel, as well as the custom on-board hot water system I built.
