This happened to me about 2 weeks ago just outside of Houston. I was gassing up and 2 guys pulled up in a blue Tahoe with Florida tags. Said they worked for an audio/video/home entertainment business and their shipment included an extra set of speakers. They said they didn't want their boss to find out and keep them for himself. They just wante to sell them for some driving around money, enough to go to the stripclub they said:)

They showed me a receipt for them and a magazine where the MSRP was like $3000. They popped open the back and they had 2-3 sets of speakers and some toaster ovens (another red flag). I said "no thank" probably 20 times and one guy kept saying, just make an offer. My offer of $20 was not appreciated and they drove off

No, but for this kind of big easy money I can make some up real quick seems like they sell pretty easy.

Relax my friend I am only fooling with everyone.
I have run into these folks selling speakers and large garage tools compressors ect. They all have a story to sell you the stuff.
The con works only by the greed of the one being conned.

No I did not buy any of these super deals.
Just trying to throw a little humor out there.;)

My wife and I were approached a couple of years ago in a parking lot one evening by a guy trying to sell us a big screen TV.
After the 4th time telling him no we were not interested, he followed us down the road.
Little did he know I was calling a buddy of mine who is a deputy sheriff that was on patrol in another shopping center.

My man tried to take off after we pulled into the shopping center and seeing the patrol car.
Needless to say he did not make it back out of the parking lot.

Turned out the guy had an old non working TV in a brand new box he was trying to sell.
