Yeah, I plan on cleaning that up next year. I live on the coast, we get between 60-90 inches of rain a year. I won't be starting that project until the rain goes away about May.

this is why you buy from a reputable company that stands behind their product and wont give u a hard time to get it fixed. there's been threads here complaining about CBI, the one on top of my head is the bumper that was sent to canada, they refused to fix it even though they sent the wrong bumper (i think, need to find the post). i was looking at a high clearance rear bumper, they have good products but am not gonna buy from them and then deal with the hassle and aggravation after the sale is done.

i have @RCI-Offroad rocksliders and skid plates, the plate on my RCI slider rusted towards the back, a little area, nothing major. i called them and asked if i could buy a paint that would fix the rust, they asked for pictures and they said they wont sell me the paint but they will replace the plate with a new one and i can keep the old plate. In 1 Phone call. I took a pic with my phone , sent the pic to the email they provided and got a new plate within a week.

I have ironman4x4 rtt nomad, it leaked. called the company, they asked for pics when it rains to see where the leak is, sent them pics and they sent me a new one and told me to keep the old tent.

these 2 companies will forever have my business if they have what i'm looking for even if they are more expensive than everyone else.

We had a lot of problems with powder coating in the past, to the point that we invested $250,000+ into our own equipment and process. I can't speak for other brands, but a lot of the industry outsources coatings to save money. If you check out this linked video around the 2:30 mark, we go more in depth with our process.
