Anyone have any updates on rather or not they were able to touch base with him? I’m having the same problem and a fair amount of cash on the line.

Jezuz...I really wished I'd seen this thread (and others related to RST). I paid for $5,300 bucks in parts back in September and am getting ghosted as well. Ugh

What a douche bag. It must be so stressful having dozens of upset customers breathing down your neck and having to continually lie to them. No thanks.

There’s no excuse for this kind of thing. If he’s sick or can’t get parts or is slammed with work and can’t meet his obligations he needs to stop taking orders or hire some help.

Atleast you still have your truck for now. If you have an appointment for sometime down the line, make sure he's actually ready to get started on it so you dont lose your truck longer than you should. When I had mine worked on he sat on it for atleast 2 weeks. I made a surprise visit and it wasnt touched, sitting in the same spot. Even after that, it took way too long. I feel sorry for the people who's vehicles were parked there when I dropped mine off, because none of them moved when I could get mine back... 4 months later. On a quoted 2 week job. I wouldn't have had an issue if he just said bring it down in 3 months, atleast I could've used my truck.

He had two other guys, but with covid who knows. Maybe he's down to just himself.
Around march or april last year. To be fair, Covid flared up about a month after I dropped it off, but if he either didnt sit on his hands for a month or told me to hold off it wouldn't have been a problem. I think it took them about a month to reopen after everything got forced closed. It's a shame because before I committed RST had nothing but praise, but after I got my truck back I've noticed a fair amount of threads like this. Whatever's going on might be new or temporary, but either way I don't think it's a good idea to pile up trucks when you've already got plenty of work to do. And it doesn't help seeing their KoH 4runner and Marlin's truck being worked on while their customers are stuck waiting. I get it, for advertising and whatnot, but clearly they have more than they can handle.

Oh yeah, seeing those other rigs in there I'm sure they've been there forever and will be with all the goodies they have. If it's any consolation, they all looked pretty badass. But yeah, I'd lose it if I had that much into a truck they were working on. Have you gone and checked up on it in person? Hard to ignore you if your there while they're working.
