He's lying out his ass. Open the dispute and get your money back. He did the same shit with me and I gave up on him after 3 months of nothing but broken promises and lies. Got the CC company to refund my money and put the same kit together myself, for half the price.

Look at http://www.rockslayeroffroad.com/ for your link kit.

the research in this thread seems to speak for itself, unless you have info that proves otherwise. This isn’t a college thesis, it’s people loaning a crook thousands of dollars with no answer for months on end.

Nope! I sent my address to him again and he said he would send it out on feb 8th. I texted him Wednesday saying I haven’t received it and he said he’d look for the receipt for tracking info and that he’d talk with his bank when he got home to see if it was cashed.

didn’t hear anything back so I texted him again yesterday and he said the bank hasn’t gotten back to him(calling bs 100% there) but he’ll send out another today(Saturday). He also said if I get two to keep both of them for my troubles, I think he was saying that to make it seem like he sent it and to put him in a better position.

I’m going to wait until the 9th to see if it comes in, if not I’m ready to go off on him. This is asinine.

I want to take legal actions but it’s not really worth it for the $300. Almost want to get as many people together as possible and take legal action as a group(idk if that’s really possible but it’s got to be.)

Well, I still haven't received my 3-link kit, which was ordered on 8/19/20 and paid in full ~$2700. I was in communication with Wyatt last week and he told me everything would be ready by the end of the week and that he would drop it off to me. I told him that I was off on Friday and could meet him somewhere or pick it up from the shop. I texted him Friday morning to let me know what time works best. He said "Ok will do Alex". Then nothing. I called several times and could not get a hold of him. This morning I tried filing a credit card dispute but Citi says I'm beyond the time frame for a disputed charge. So basically all a vendor has to do is run out the clock with Citi's timeframe and they won't take action. I'm going to run it up the chain with Citi but their dispute dept was closed today so that'll have to wait until tomorrow. This sucks. I don't want to pursue legal action but $2700 is a lot of money to me and I will if it comes to it.

My CC awarded me in the dispute. Still no word from RS on what happened with my transfer case. What a shit show. I hope you guys get your issues resolved. Can’t believe this guy.

Thanks for the update. I had to write and mail a letter to Citi explaining the situation (because it was beyond their 60-day window to file a dispute online or over the phone). I'm really hoping they honor the dispute. I should hear back within a few weeks. I asked Wyatt for a refund, after the 3rd week in a row where he told me my parts would be ready for pickup at the end of the week then ignored my texts and calls when the time came. Always a fresh excuse on Monday when I called him out, but numerous times insisted that things were close and would be done by the end of the week. What a load of crap. He completely stopped responding when I asked for a refund. So disappointing.

I bet there's enough people that have been screwed in here that you all could file a police report in the area were he is in business and file to the Better business bureau

It might come to that. If the CC company denies the dispute I'll fight it as far up the chain there as I need to. The next step will be legal action. I will absolutely not roll over on this and take a $2700 loss.
