I figured, saw them post pics of a stack of 40s on IG. I guess he isn't using that cash to complete orders that are on the books.

***UPDATE. I AM A DUMMBASS. WE ALL GOT SCAMMED***

I wish I could share in here without stirring up the shitstorm. I know money is hard to lose for anyone, but at this point he is trying hard to not go full pelfrey. if we push it most people will lose money, if we let him try to climb out of this hole we may all actually get our shit. keep that in mind. this is what happened to a lot of pelfrey “investors”

im a longterm rst investor, and i have also given wyatt a target to hit like others with big investments have done, and we are all hoping he hits it and can deliver on all the smaller items also and can stay in business to service the work i hope he finishes someday.

i am not making excuses, just saying we should try to let him make things right knowing the issue he is in, there are worse scenarios that could become the outcome.

If you have cc chargebacks and dont think you can get your parts dont use my advice to hold off on those, i am not a lawyer or financial expert...

I purchased a kit from rst in late 2019 and was lied to every time I managed to get ahold of them. Never received a full kit and what I did receive, arrived over the course of 6 months. Ate my losses but should have let the community know.

As an investor, did you vet RST? I would think one look at the email inbox would show a significant issues within the company.

I've been trying to give RST the benefit of the doubt. I was thinking that because my order is smaller (compared to a full build) that he could make it happen. The kit was ordered and paid for in August 2020, more than 6 months ago. I was told numerous times (at least 4 in the past month) that my parts were almost ready, waiting on one thing, etc, only to be ghosted later on in the same day. I even started taking my 4Runner apart because I was assured on a Thursday that everything was ready and he would deliver it to me on Friday. Then ignored my texts and calls on Friday. The lack of honesty and communication is what really bothers me with all of this. I took this business at its word, and bought other parts based on this setup. I have an axle and coilovers, both of which had a 2 month lead time, sitting in my garage collecting dust for almost 3 months waiting for a link and bracket kit. I've exhausted all of my patience. I'd rather get the kit from RST than a refund, but nothing in the past 2 months has indicated to me that there is any intention of fulfilling my order.

Sorry this sounds just like Pelfreybilt to me. They also had people saying that they were a stand up business and would never try to steal from the community. If I had money on the line I would try to get it back.

***UPDATE. HE AINT GETTING OUT OF THE HOLE***

I never said dont get your money back, I actually said the opposite. But those waiting for parts, all said and done if we let him get out of the hole we may get the parts.

There was a point where pelfrey could have gotten out of their hole, they past that point. Wyatt is trying to get out of the hole.

He is not taking on new projects or purchases right now, hes trying to fill and finish what he has. Pelfrey didnt do that, they booked a shit load more.

Trust me this shit isnt cool. anyone that knows me knows this truck being gone for years has really fucked with me. but i either i have faith it may get done or i go pick up a truck in pieces and pay someone else $15k to finish it out of my own pocket. So still on plan A.

Everyone in here is a adult, do what you need to do. those waiting on parts with hope, hes trying. he may go full pelfrey, but at this point he has a plan and is trying not to.

Sorry, I wasn't interested in an internet argument. I don't even have any money on the line for this one. I was just adding my 2 cents.

man i so agree. i always wanted pics and videos. its so easy. i can give you the excuse list for why i didnt get those, but its on the giant list of excuses for why i didnt get anything else. its pretty much a two
    page list at this point.

honestly, none of this situation is acceptable but it happened.

how long to wait? that depends on the person. was just giving some hope to those still waiting with the hope for getting their items. those beyond that point, do your thing. if i used a credit card man i would have charged it back years ago and picked up my
vehicle with a trailer. but my project was bigger than that.

anyways. i tried to not shitstorm which is why i never posted, but no matter how you try on tw, fireworks always follow.

Agree 100%. I would give him more time if he was honest with me. But that hasn't been the case and I'm done being understanding. At this point the only thought consuming my mind is that I might get burned on almost $3k. I have a family and these large 4Runner purchases don't come lightly. I work my ass off to buy parts and do all the work on the truck myself because I can't afford shop labor. I'm in full self preservation/survival mode at this point.

If that's your taco that Kevin is work on then it's looking sick AF. Would love to check it out in person and hit some trails when it's done. Thanks for the info, I appreciate any and all input. I was on an island before I found this thread. A sad, lonely island...
