I was wondering about the ice issue too. We get a lot of packed snow and ice conditions around here. Has anyone had experience using them in those conditions?

I had no problems in the snow with mine. I thought they outperformed every other tire on the trail in both the snow and mud.

Had the KM2's on about two weeks now, let the air down to 29-30lbs for the winter, they slip lots in the slush! Other than that, they seem fine, mileage is a bit down, but not an issue. Had them on snow covered back trails last weekend, never spun a tire! Wikkid good in the rough!

Mine tore it up in the snow last year. No regrets at all (but didnt do much with driving in ice... just snow).

Im about to buy a set....

So to clarify, they suck in slush but kick ass in full snow? Is there really that much a difference in winter performance?
