    I get that they are lighter and I'm not arguing with you but I've always seen 20s cost a heck of a lot more? Am I just seeing it wrong?

    3/2 leveling kit, 275/60r20 duratracs on xd128 20x9 rims, AFE stage 2 intake, trd exhaust, duel electric fan w/dakota digital controller
    That is depending on the size your asking about. The 275/60r20 that I have on is a stock dodge sport size for the last few years so they are really cheap and come in a SL rated tire which has a higher load rating then the 6 ply. If you want wider you can go to a 305/55r20 (33.5") or one of the standard measurement sizes. No matter what you do your gonna pay more as the inches increase due to lack of supply and demand.

    I do admit that a 265/75r16 being one of the most common sizes for over 10 years is super super cheap.
    the 275/60r20 tires on tirerack range from 135 - 265 dollars.

    I love my KO2, very good in snow. Have them about 3 months now. I can't heard any road noise on and off road. I went up a slippery hill in the blizzard conditions without even put it on the 4WD. They are unbelievable! Worth every penny.

    Ive owned both on my F150 (just bought my first taco) and had great luck. My geolanders lasted almost 60,000 miles without a single issue, looked pretty aggressive, and did everything I wanted. Currently, running AT3S on my wife's 2012 4runner and my 98 f150. Aside from one fluke sidewall cut, all is well. Not to mention a pretty good mileage warranty.

    If you went with a 17in wheel in size 265/70/17s it's basically the same size as the 265/76/16s, those 17in ko2s come in load range C it would however cost more since you would have to invest in new 17in wheels. I did take a hit on my mpg, but by only 1-2mpg which isn't all that bad, in fact when I'm driving like my grandma, I can get near 20mpg. I commute 64miles a day combine, 5 days a week so I keep track of my fuel consumption very well. All this week I've been hitting high 19mpg doing 65mph on the highway. Increasing my fuel cost by a couple dollars extra a week.

    These tires do extremely well in snow and remain soft in cold weather, it's been around 17°F a week ago and I had no troubles with traction, this last weekend I took a 200 mile trip and it rained heavy during that trip, the tires performed great in heavy cold rain, no signs of hydroplaning or loss of traction. Driving on gravel roads I notice the tires do not pick up little rocks in the treads as much and if they did the tire knocks them loose once you get going. Super quiet on the highway, they roll smoother than my Hankook winter ipike tires. Cornering feels nice and planted so no more squishy cornering but I think it's due to the wider wheels and 0 offset which widen the stance more, also considering the stiffer side wall of an E rated tire.

    The tires didnt feel super stiff as I thought they would, they are comfortable and doesn't jar your teeth out on rough terrian. In fact they are a little more cushy but I think that's due to a taller sidewall. I run them at 36psi front and 34psi rear, if I ran my rugged trails at 35psi they feel really hard and I noticed it, with these ko2s at 36 front and 34 rear, they still feel plush and pliable which surprised me.

    I have nothing but good things to say about them, if there was one bad thing it would be that they aren't good on ice, but nothing really is good on ice except for having studs on ice or a dedicated winter tire with a lot of sipping. If someone studded these ko2s they would work well on ice.

    I have looked at the duratracs, in fact a lot of guys up here in Alaska runs them, but the duratracs cost more when I went around pricing, so it was a no brainer for me to buy the KO2s for less.

    Good luck with whatever tire you choose, once I take these tires on a few off roading trips and put more miles on them I will definitely do a better review.

    I've run BFG KOs (not KO2) on a couple of rigs and they did great in snow but, sucked in mud. I have cooper AT3s on my tacoma and while I haven't had them very long, they've been great so far. No deep snow yet but, seem to do ok in the light stuff I've tried and have got good traction on rocky trails. I'd buy them again.

    I laugh at this cause this michelin tire has really good reviews, really good mpgs, really good life, but yet because it's so boring, people don't buy them. Including me. Plus they are a good price when Costco has them on sale.

    I know Michelin are supposed to be good tires but this tire mentioned looks to boring to even be an AT tire. I mean I need to look good when I go to the mall...

    My first set of Michelin ltx ms tires came from Michelin when I did some contract work for them at their NA Headquarters in Greenville, SC. They were the original ms not the ms2 and were an amazing tire, I stuck with them for many years until the ms2 came out. Only drawback to the ltx ms tires was on greasy clay roads they were slicker than owl shit. But feel overall one of if not the best AT tires out there. The ms2 really changed tread design and I didn't trust them when they first came out. Still haven't owned a pair but there are some that claim they aren't near as good in deep snow and mud as the originals. The Baja came with BFG KO's and I like them, a lot as much as the original ltx ms. Only had them 2 years time will tell but so far very pleased. Hopefully the KO2's are as good and by all accounts are. Michelin actually owns BFG by the way.

    Plastic dip badges. Upgraded head unit, husky floor liners, BFG ko2 tires.
    Just ordered a set of ko2's today. Will be put on this weekend. Was reading a bunch of reviews as well as talking to people. I have a 2009 4wd double cab. Never had any tires but stock or dealer recommended tires. This is my first BFG tire. Exspensive, but from what I hear well worth it. Hopefully weight won't be too bad. Coming from stock due flops, I am sure I will notice. I am also going up one size. 265/70/r16

    What are the major differences between the 10 ply and 6 ply versions? Also if I put 17"'s on my 2015 Tacoma with stock wheels will it rub? Thanks in advance.

    One is a tougher tire compare to the other; 10ply has a higher load capacity compare to the 6ply_ 10ply also is stronger in terms of puncture proof compare to the 6ply. 10ply is really ideally designed for big trucks that haul very heavy loads. 10ply is also much heavier_


    You won't regret it; these are good tires. Mine has lasted what seem like forever, I now got about 30k miles on mine and they still look new, a little bit of wear but from the looks of it only; they could go another 50-60k miles no problems(at least that's what I'm hoping). They work great in snow and super quiet on the highway compare to other tires, I tow with them and so far no squishy rear end feeling with a heavy load in the back, they hold up great. I bought these tires because I needed something that'll work excellent in snow yet provide good traction all year round; so far they live up to my expectations.

    The Nittos all the way! They are very quiet compared to the Ko2s and the don't wear down as fast, while still performing great in 4-wheel drive conditions
