bought some cooper AT/3's 265/75/16's... and i can hardly believe the differance in the ride, no more bumpsteer i guess u call it, rides like a cadillac now, the KO'S were so harsh a ride, i knew there would be a differance but im amazed and loving my Pro alot more,,, it has the ride i want...

This is good to know. My next set of tires will be AT3's once these BFG A/T KO's run out which are debatably at that point now. These are the ones I chose as a viable suitor for my next set of tires.

My only question is, what are you referring to when you say "bumpsteer?" Are you talking about wandering on the road when going over imperfections and such?

Why anyone buy BFG's for their Tacoma is beyond me. I run Cooper ATP's and the ride is so nice compared to every truck I have been in with BFG's.

I have the AT3's to me they suck in the snow, the ride might be smooth. But performance not so good.

Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
...and I think they are great in the snow.

These tires are all around great for me. Only time stuck was in some soggy clay on a slope. Expedition portal did a pretty thorough comparison test.

Did you go from an LT265 to a P265? This has made a big difference for me on other trucks. The tires I have right now come in both P265 and LT265. I chose the P for better ride and fuel economy, I do no regret it. Doesn't look as bad ass, but who cares. The ride is so much better.

they came on my truck,, the wheels would hit bumps and holes at slower speeds and the wheel would slap back and forth.. most tires are good in the snow when all four wheels have traction.. been driving in snow in north east pa. for 40 yrs,, have to know how to drive in snow and bad weather,,,,,,

The expedition portal review on the AT3's makes me want to pick up a set.

I just made the exact the same switch.

My truck rides and handles a 100 times better. Plus tires were only 127 each instead of 210

Rugged fails lasted me 19k before they dry rotted.

Got AT3s in C Load, used for last half of snow season and they are night and day difference. I removed sandbags and never needed to switch into 4x4 with them. Great in wet/slick roads now that it's pouring constantly. They took a ton of weight to balance but Firestone gave me free rotation/alignment for life of tire so I plan on taking advantage of that.

I love the Coopers! Arguably the best tire I have ever had on a vehicle. I never had an issue with them in the snow or the mud for that matter. Been a great tire and will have another set once these are worn.
