Discount tire said that 275-70-16 BFG A/T tires would fit a stock 2009 DC 4x4 TRD on stock supsension. I have ordered the tires from them . Good move or bad . Should i check out and or cancel the order and get the 265-70-16 BFG A/T tires . Thanks for your help . They are positive they will fit with no problems. Called two discount tire shops both said the same thing

That's a very odd size. I don't know of anyone running it. Pease report back as to whether they fit.

They will fit. In fact it's the widest size that will fit without modification or minor cutting. The rolling height is only 31.1 inches tall. In between stock and 265/75/16.

    I'm headed that way myself.

Is it true that they have to rebuilt the TPMS on my wheels when you buy new tires . That's what discount tire is telling and charging me 3 dollars a tire

When I put on my new wheels the place put in the TPMS stems no extra charge. They just unscrew and swap them to the other rim, proceed as normal. If you're using the same sensors there's no need to re-program or anything. At the most you'll have to press the button under the steering wheel to reset the benchmark PSI, but I didn't have to.

Installed BFG A/T's 275/70-16 today. Everything seem fine and they fit . No rubbing and they look great.

Discount tire set psi at 35psi. Seems to ride very well at this setting.

Almost bought the exact same tires and size. 275 is hard to find variety in and ended up getting pro comps in 265 instead. Looks good, didn't know for sure about the fit with stock, thanks for clearing that up. I think OZ runs 275s btw. Enjoy

Tire tread width is 9" , sect width is 10.5" , overall dia is 30 1/4" . Overall real happy with the tire . I think I have the best of both worlds it is not a C rated nor a E rated tire it is right in the middle at D rated. I will see and report as they aged and wear. They are way better than the stock BFG rugged trails
