Well, I am going the other way. Bought and paid for a brand new set of Michelin Defender LTX P rated tires to go back to a stock tire size for this truck. I love the look of BFG's but that to me is not a good reason to run them. It would be like a professional runner using hiking boots for a marathon because he/she likes the looks of them. Nope. They are going to use the shoe for the purpose needed. I NEVER go off-road in my Sport. I need a highway tire. So giving up the looks to go back to what is what I need.

I opted to go with the 6 ply(C load) tires, and I couldn't be happier. Rides similar to stock, but it actually looks like a truck now, and all that.

Just curious, why did you get an E load tire on a compact light weight truck? That the problem with ride harshness I bet.

Any rubbing? I have the 4x4 sport DCLB and love the wheels. Yours looks awesome. Getting ready to try a set of KO2 in 265/70/18. Hope they don't rub. I have a silver sky and was thinking white letters out. Thought?

New tires are not bad. They get far worse with wear regarding N&V on the highway.

Thinking about some KO2s for my 2012 dclb. I have stock 18 inch wheels. So the largest size I can run without rubbing is 265 65 18 right? TIA

I think KO2s are the best all terrain you can buy.

SSO hybrid bumper, Warn winch, RCI skid trilogy, RRW sliders, everything in the cheap/free mods thread, and of course the frame recall work.
Depends more on tire pressure. Your truck should have them at 35 PSI, no higher. Fill them like bricks and they will ride like bricks!

I am interested if they rub as well, I have a 2015 DCLB, going to level it with bilsteins all around, and wanted that size Nitto Terra Grapplers G2, my 05 DCLB stock height fit 265/265 18 fine, and looks like another 1' would fit without rubbing or modding. Please let us know how it works out!
    Thanks
