It's more than likely you'll experience a "stiffer ride." The heavier Load E tires will also decrease your MPG, as stated earlier, and your truck will be noticeably more sluggish than before.

I have 265/75/16 E KO2 tires with 21lbs wheels but I'm on aftermarket Icon suspension. For me, the KO2s actually improved my ride compared to the lighter 265/75 load C Duratracs I was running before. My Duratracs only had 26k miles on them before I retired them. They were amazing when they were new but as they wore down, they were very difficult to balance, slippery in the rain, became loud and annoying, and caused my steering wheel to vibrate at 55-65 mph.

I have only had my KO2s for about 1k miles so I cannot comment on their long-term performance.

Here is a picture of what my Duratrac tires looked like when I retired them. Plenty of tread left.

let's see how those look on your truck!

btw... I'm running the KO2 c-rated on my truck. I love the ride on the highway it's a little more rough than stock tires, which is what I wanted. Took it on some dirt a few times and I felt confident. Haven't got on any serious trails yet but plan to. Got them from a seller on this site slightly used for $600 :)

Dont listen to any of these guys...
I got 285/70/17s KO2s and on a prerunner. They are called "All-Terrain" for a purpose, so that you have the ability to do some offroading. And I understand you can offroad with any tire but these work better than stock or street tires.
As for the price, they are expensive because they are awesome tires. So if you have the money then I would get them, however try to get the best deal you can. I failed and did pay about 1k for mine straight from my dealer lol.
    Also they do look badass...

Yes 285s. The angle of the pic makes the tires look smaller...

Yes, must be the angle. How much trimming was involved to run that size? My 265s are rubbing on my mudflaps like crazy. I need another alignment to change my caster.

I just had everything installed still gotta do more trimming tomorrow of the plastic inside... I had to take about 6-8 square inches of the cab mount and plastic to be able to turn without rub.

I put 265/75r16 E-rated BFG KO2 all terrain on a few months ago.I couldn't be happier with a tire. The ride is smooth, quiet and hardly a noticeable drop in power.Best price was from 4wd hardware and offroad.

I got mine for 1200 out the door from American tires. I got 285/70/17 KO2
I feel the loss on mpg, the loss of power but I love the look. I had to add 1" bora wheel spacers so it wouldn't rub at full lock.

Which load range do you run, c or e and are you happy with the 275? I've run 285s in the past and don't feel as though I need to go so big this time around..
