Decision made...I'm going with the Michelins. My Tacoma spends more than 80% of its time on the highway anyhow and I value a good, safe ride.

Question?? Explain road force ballanced...is that different from a traditional balance?

Road force ballance is a special machine they use to put road pressure on the tire while its ballanced. Call the shop before hand and ask if they can do so. I know that Toyota service can do it. It cost me 20 dollars a tire mount and ballance. Also Michelin has a 70 dollar rebate going rite now. Go to discount tire website and u will see it there. I hope u like these tires as much as I do they realty are great. Also if u read the reviews on tire rack most people love them and people are getting 80,000-120,000 miles out of them.

Foglights are for fog, not oncoming traffic!
X2...I have had many Michelin LTX series tires and never regretted any purchase.
Road performance is excellent...smooth and quiet.
    Off-road and snow/ice is excellent.
    Long wearing.
    Very high quality.

michelin at2s are bad a. i work at discount tire, and they are the best i work on and install, plus very little road noise by comparison, and good on and off road characteristics

I went ahead and ordered a set for my 09 from Sam's club today. It ended up being $735 installed w/ $70 instant rebate. Cant wait to try them out. Thanks everyone for their inputs.

What should I do with my stock Rugged Trails. I have about 16k on them, should I just them them to dipose of them?

Revo 2 on my 2008. 24,000 miles and they still have a bunch of tread left. They are quiet and handled the SMORR trails well last fall (9/2009) during GATOR (the Great American Toyota Offroard Rally). my two cents.

    .

I took my OEM BFGs off at 12,500 miles and put on Michelin LTX AT2s and love them. Great deals at Discount Tire too.

Just passed 16k and I like these tires even more for their grip in wet and dry.
