It'll fit with some adjusting of the tire spacer things.. the metal fins that guide your tire. Mine are like 1/2 from tailpipe heatsheild, was warm, but never hot to the touch. Massaged the brackets to move it to driver side as much as possible. Just adjust with a bfh, and go from there, but know being bigger, will hang down a little more.

My previous truck '08 Prerunner had (5) 285/70r17 "E" BFG KO2's. You have to get a hammer & bang up the 2 metal pieces that center the factory spare. It was simple. After that the 285/70r17 fit perfectly in the spare tire location.

So you didn't like the ko2? But you do like the coopers? Im shopping for tires and both are at the top of my list actually probably my top 2 choices right now. Ive been planning for e load . Are these guys excited about a c rated bc of weight only, or are most of you off roading more or what?

Nope but love the STT Pro's, I live in a very hilly area and this is the first year 4WD wasn't needed to make the hills.

Wow that's very surprising it seems a lot of people really love the k02.Do you mind me asking what you did not like about them other than you saying they did not grip well enough in the snow??I too live in a very very hilly mountain area and just want something quite, that looks aggressive and will hook in inclement weather and what off road we will do for camping.

Filled up with snow to quick, front end slid turning corners at very low speed. Cooper's didn't fill up and are amazing even when cornering.

Has anybody tried to run these on 4Runner TRD pro 17inch wheels with stock suspension?

Was looking at Falkens, but came across these for $160 a tire a couple months ago so I picked em up. Finally installed them a few weeks ago and Im happy so far. Haven't been off-roading yet, but the ride is smooth and quiet. These replaced the 265/70/17 Toyo Open Country A/T Load E I had on. Those Toyos, to me, felt more stiff and rough than the KO2s. No issues balancing, no issues in the rain, and the ride comfort is great. We will see how well they perform off-road when the time comes. I only take a couple off-road trips a year so this thing is 90% on road. I thought I was going to lose some mpg but it seems I've actually gained. After doing some research, I believe these are lighter than my Toyos. What I do need is new mudflaps now.

I really advise against the E-loads. I'm running 275/70/17 Cooper S/T Maxx in E-load and man they are rough. You feel every single imperfection in the road. These trucks are just too light for E-load. They're more for a heavy full size truck that hauls lots of weight, or even better suited for a dually. I can't wait to get these off and move down to C-load.

I have the KO2's on the 4Runner TRD Pro rims, 265/70/17. No rubbing at all.

Thank you for taking the time to share that, I'm actually tire shopping and stt pro,k02 and possibly falken mt are at the top of my list. Im even considering bfg km2 or km3 just trying to figure out my next wheel choice bc there's only certain sizes in each model. I believe I'm going with a 295 but may stick with a 285 just depends. Im scheduled for nt cmc wednesday so we'll see soon!

Those STT Pro's are rough man. IMO they're a lot better in the 35"-37" range, but anything smaller, they are just so aggressive for how "small" the tire is, that you end up feeling every tread and lug slap on the road. Especially on the highway.

A guy I wheeled with a few months back who has STT Pro's in 37's on his crazy rubicon says he hates them and can't get rid of them, that he was disappointed by the off road performance of them. I was a bit taken back but hey.

That's very interesting, it's at the top of my lost for next tire and I see so many of them out there...
