I have the AT3W 265/75/16 on my TRD Pro. Rides soft. I have vibration issues around 65mph, will bring it in for alignment and balance again soon. Some road noise when going through roundabout interchanges. Have not off road in them yet and I have no experience with the KO2s.

So far these tires seem good. I put about 5K miles on it.

I absolutely love my wildpeak at3w. Zero issues here. Attached are a comparison of my at3w vs walmart version of cooper discoverer a/t. The coopers were actually a little cheaper. Cooper on lexus, Falkens on my Taco.

i've had a set of Wildpeaks on for about 42k miles. can't complain, work great in snow, rain, and highway. no vibrations for me. on the other end, we have E rated KO2s on one of our work trucks that are chunking pretty hard at 12k miles and they can't balance for shit. even taking them to 3 different tire shops.

I just mounted Falken Wildpeaks. Love them so far. No issue balancing and no wobble. Walmart has a great deal on them right now ($114 for 265/70/17). Plus my Walmart only charged $22 per tire for mount, lifetime balance and rotation, and road hazard warranty. Couldn't pass up that deal.

I just replaced a set of BFG KO2 LT235/85R16 with Falken A/T3W LT265/75R16 (so both E load range).

I wasn't unhappy with the KO2, I've been a BFG person for decades and knew what to expect and they met my expectations of being just OK on wet pavement (honestly brand new they were better than previous BFG ATs, this size is 3 peak rated) and no complaints on dirt and rocks.

Two things I did not like, they were worn down to 4/32" at 35K miles and had a very bad hum on the highway. I rotate and balance tires every other oil change, about 6,000 miles, since I get them from Discount. Otherwise nothing much bad or good to say. The sidewalls are tough on BFG tires and can take their share of abuse. Not sure if that'll be my experience with the Falkens or not.

That 55k warranty factored into my decision to go with Wildpeaks (KO2s have no tread life warranty just a basic defect warranty). Also the rumor is they do better on snow but no first hand experience yet. They did about what I thought they would on mud and a little bit of snow getting our Christmas tree, slide a little but never got stuck.

I also notice they ride a little softer than the KO2s and are a bit less loud. Not full street tire quiet but quieter. These seem happiest at about 40 psi, no squish but not hard. I ran my KO2 at about 35 or so psi.

FWIW all 4 in the set I got in November 2019 were U.S.-made.

Just purchased falkans. I wanted BFKO but didn’t want the extra weight. I’ve had falkans for 2 snow falls here in upstate NY. I like them so far... mileage is down 1-2 but I have used 4wd more and I recently installed a remote starter. OEM tires we’re Michelin’s and I got very good mpg but they were not the greatest in any snow.

Between the 2, i'd choose the falkens. Have you considered the new cooper at3 4s? Should check out the thread if you haven't already. If you look at my post number 1279 on page 64, i posted some videos on the tires one of which compared to the ko2s.

EDIT: My brother has the falkens on his 2011 ford ranger and seems to love them over whatever was the OE tire.

Bfg KO2 vote here. Had them and the previous model on every truck I’ve owned without a single problem. Lots of hunting and dirt roads, slight wheeling, all types of weather, etc. never had a problem.

I just picked up the wildpeaks on Amazon. Was too good a deal to pass up. Got the e rated now just waiting for my titan t-ak1 wheels to show up in a few weeks

I’ve always run the BFGs- KO for several years, KO2s for the last two. I’ve never had a single issue.

    Falken.

Have 285/70 r17 E rated. Used them in mud, snow and as daily tires. I couldn't be more pleased with performance. No balancing issues and no issues with road noise.

I also do some rock climbing and hit ocotillo. No issues letting the air pressure go low.

However my mpg took a major dip and truck feels eve more sluggish

Surprised it hasn't been mentioned, but I believe most, if not all, of the KO2's are made in the USA for those who take that into consideration.

It has 200k miles, otherwise near perfect. I looked at about 10 examples before grabbing this one. These trucks are designed to last 300k mls.
