Apologies for the delayed reply. If you like, I could pull my spare tire down and get some pictures of just the wheel and tire assembly.

Work took up a lot of time last week, but I finally got around to taking some pictures before it got dark out. I personally think a 1.5 or 2" lift would look best, but I still have some time to decide. Would you mind posting a picture of your own truck up once you get the lift?

    Thanks rcsteele.
235s might be a better fit over 255s...since I only went with a 2" lift this time.

    Sweet rig computeruser6 :)

You'll notice a big difference from stock. I have a side-by-side comparison with 245s on my build page

You saw K02's for a great price? Do you remember what it was?

I ask because they have been going up in price everywhere lately, they're extremely popular tires (for good reason). I have them on my '04 and love them, but I worry about the cost of replacing them when the time comes...

man, i love these tires. they were so great during the winter. regular cabs are pretty lightweight, so i liked having that extra beefy tire driving thru snow and icy slush. i havent needed to air down for anything yet, so i havent played around with finding an optimal psi. these tires are tough as nails. heavy? for sure. so i have to down shift into 4th on the highway to pass someone now, big deal. its not like the 4cyl was super speedy to begin with.

Not sure how great the price was but they are cheaper than the 265s and a whole buck less than the 245s...

Don't get me wrong, as much as I want 235s I am never going to re-gear my truck because if the wife and I can start a family I'm going to end up trading for a four door truck, I might just get the 245s before this winter that way I know that yes I'm going to lose fuel economy however the circumference of the tire is what my vehicle was geared for. Make sense?

i definitely dont feel the need to re-gear the truck at all. the truck drives 90% the same as before with the stock dunlops. i only notice a little power loss at high speed in 5th.

i think i got them around $180 per tire at pepboys.
