Do you have first hand experience with C and E load rating KO2's sidewall and tread puncture resistance? Can you share?

    - ICON UCAs, BP51/Kings, SCS wheels, 285s, Leer 100XR canopy. Greenlane aluminum winch bumper, Smittybilt X20 winch. Trying Falken AT3w now, Really like BF KO2s.
I’ve run both in 265 70 17 and had no issues.
I have 285 70 17 in C load now, work great. The Raptor came spec’d with the same tires for a while, bigger heavier truck.
What area you live in? What are you doing with your truck ?

    What are you going for?

E's are way more in stock, much easier to find and purchase incase one is destroyed.

I prefer offroading with E's simply knowing I have the thickest tire I could have purchased.

I have standard load winters, so I save my fuel when they are on :p

CPS-65 I’m good for some, but I’m not for everyone.

I currently run a 265/70/17 C on my Tacoma and 285/70/17 C on my wife’s JK. I like them, they are lighter and when aired down, give a good contact patch. I ran a 315/70/17 E on my previous Ram. The only flat I ever had on the Es was doing about 80 on the 10 East, in the fast lane, just outside Palm Springs. I hit some big metal object and lost my RR tire. It sounded like a gunshot. Tore the tire up and my RR bedside and exhaust. I was able to stop the truck with full control. The rim was undamaged. I attribute that to the heavy tire carcass of the E tire.
It’s a give and take. E range seems to hold up well, but they are heavy. I suspect they have less contact patch when aired down, but you can also air them down farther without losing a bead. I could drop those Es on my Ram to 12 lbs and you would hardly notice, that’s what makes me think the contact patch isn’t as long as a softer tire.
