Quick question. What's the best way to keep tires lasting long and wearing right. Every 6-months...

When you get a brand new tire should you rotate then a month or two after being installed? The guy at the tire shop said you should ALWAYS rotate tires 1-2 months after install. Always.

My last Nitto Grapplers wore pretty funny so I want to make sure these KO2 don't

    Thx

Really. Every 3-5k seems too often though. But maybe not

I’m doing the rotation every 6000 miles on avg, my last set of KOs made it to 60k miles no problem.
Haven’t heard about doing a quick rotation after install.

A more aggressive tread will need to be rotated more often than street tires or All Terrain tires. Somewhere around 5000 miles is a good baseline. But depending on where and how you drive it could be different. They can go longer if most of those miles are hwy miles. If all in city driving more often. I tend to rotate every 7000-8000 miles and have had good luck doing so. But I don't own aggressive mud tires and a fair amount of my driving is hwy.

I've never heard anyone say they needed to be rotated sooner for the 1st rotation. There could be something to it. It might not help, but can't hurt either.
