20180809_174100.jpg I have had a slight vibration in the steering with my KO2' when I was on the interstate the other day. I went to the shop and the tech noticed some of the balancing weights on the front wheels came off. They are applied on by adhesive. I've been in water and mud few times since I had them on in July. He said that does it.
He balanced them again. It rides fine locally. I'll jump on the interstate tomorrow morning and see how it feels.

I’ve had KOs and KO2s and no problems. Bad tire I’d guess.

a lot tire balance shops will put a bad balancing tire to the rear of the vehicle... then when you go to rotate them boom, you've got vibes you didn't have before. Get them rebalanced.

All “A/T” tires will have a little noise/vibration.... but nothing major. Sounds like a bad tire. See if the manager will swap out that one tire and go from there. If you wheel your truck occasionally then you’ll definitely get vibes down the road. If you want a smooth and quiet tire stick to highway tread.

There was a thread about this issue a few months ago. I had a set of KO2s that America's Tire couldn't get balanced after 5 tries. BF Goodrich bought them back/gave me full credit towards a new set. So far so good on the new set after about 5k miles.

Might have been as simple as just losing a balance weight on one of the tires but Ko2 is overrated by the forum fanboys so don’t forget to discount the hype

Overhyped? They're quiet, good road manners, great in snow, and good off road even running sub 20 psi without beadlocks. But what do I know..

I had ko2s 265/70/17 c-rated and they vibrated badly. The tire shop replaced one tire because it was out of round and it helped but still had vibes. Replaced them with Ridge Grapplers 285/70/17 and now it rides smooth.
When these wear out I will get them again.

There was a time that I might agree that the BFGs were over rated, but they have continued to improve with every new version. KO2s are a pretty solid tire. Of course they command a pretty hefty price, but you get what you pay for. Unlike Goodyear, you are not paying for a lot of advertising when you buy them.

Vibrations are back. Spoke to BFGoodrich and they told me vibrations are from separated belts and I can get all new tires if I wanted. Separated belts doesn't sound like an issue I want to deal with agsin...esp with my family on the highway! Thoughts? Should I jump to the ridge grapplers?

I'm getting ready to put a set on. I saw one today in a parking lot and I thought the 265/70/17 didn't look all that much bigger. I will say I didn't see any rubbing marks and it had the front mud flaps. Anyhow I'm doing them and white letters out. $700 bucks out the door.

How can you tell the difference between the tire vibes and driveline vibes?
Mine just started shaking. It didnt right after my lift, put shims in and didnt really change. I was thinking could be my ko2

I just had my KO2's rebalanced on Tuesday and had two out of balance, also have a bad centre support bearing they have different symptoms. try rotating the tires and see if it helps, also check for missing weights and uneven wear. how much lift did you put in?

I don't have a lift. Only new variable is the tires.

Mine were fine until they were rotated around 800 miles. Toyota rotated them as part of 24mo service. I didn't think it would be a big deal. They were rebalanced and back to vibrations. Best of luck.
