Probably not. Backspacing of wheels has most to do with what rubs. Mine are 4.85" backspacing, so id benefit from a wheel with less BS

No experience with the Maxx, but I love my ko2s! Awesome in snow. Tried to get stuck in 12 inches going uphill and couldn't. I know that they are snow rated (little mountain sign with snow flake). Are the Maxx snow rated?

I doubt youll have rubbing issues like i did. A good cmc and some trimming, maybe hammer the pinch weld and you should be good to go

I have E rated 275/70r17 ST Maxxs. They are burly... and heavy (59lbs!!!). I have about 1k miles on them and they rock in the snow, ice, and rain. They were difficult to balance, but I think that's more a problem with the shop I took it to than the tires.

    Too few to list.
That's what I've noticed about them, 4 lbs heavier than K02's in the same size.

Would a 275/70 eliminate some rubbing or about the same?

Going with a 275 should eliminate some of the rubbing, but you will likely still have to ditch/trim the mud flaps and maybe do a little trimming of the plastic fender well liner.

Come ride wit me an find out!!
I vote st maxx love mine put them thru everything an they keep going. They are heavy an mine have a tendency to pull to the right some nothing drastic.
I have about 38-40k on them an still have 1/2 tread. Love the way ko2 look but don’t perform as well as the coopers in my travels.

I had the same set of 5 35’s between two Jeep jk’s... on one Jeep they drove perfect and on the other I always got a slight pull. Spent a bunch kid effort trying to get 2nd Jeep to drive without the pull but it never did. I would say it was not my st Maxx tires! Had them on an f150 also with no issues. Currently run falken at3w and wish I had gone Maxx
