Getting ready to do a 2/1.5 5100 lift and looking for opinions on the BFG MT’ and AT’s. Im only going up to 265/75/16 on the stock Off Road rims. Having the off-road mode, I have the horrible differential whine that Toyota is f***ing their customers over with, so Im looking for tires that make noise, but not to the point of irritation. I want to stick with BFG’g because the price is right. There’s a lot of opinion on the KO2s but not much on the MT’s.

If your sole reason for getting MT tires over AT tires is to hide your diff whine, I'd highly suggest rethinking your logic a bit.

I have a off-road with no diff whine. Does Toyota like me more than you or sumpin?

sounds like your truck has a warranty issue.

Thornbirds might be a safer option as they cup out almost immediately
