Well, he didn't rotate them for almost 40,000 miles. Cornering wear would become substantial in that time period no matter what inflation was used.

Bought my Tacoma new with OEM BFG Rugged Trail T/A and now have about 56K on them. They are rotated every 10K and have about 4-5K left before replacement. Wear has been excellent with no visible cupping or uneven wear. I've had pretty good luck with these tires with only one patch since purchase.

Will probably replace with the same tire with the exception of adding nitrogen.

Exactly... It wasn't under inflation; yhe tires were filled to 29-30 psi all the time, what Toyota recommends. I was surprised how well they did hold up since they never were rotated, but they never handled as well as my current Bridgestone's even when new. I used to be a huge BFG fan, but since Michelin took them over, they are now over priced and overrated IMO.

I did it again. Got tired of paying truck payments and gas and traded in for a 2015 Honda Accord Sport since I enjoyed my 2013 Sport so much.
IMO, good thing they wear fast so you can get a better set of tires ASAP.
