    Flow master,
hey guys I'm in the market for some new tires, what do you guys suggest between the bfg ko2, Goodyear mt/s or the Mickey Thompson. Looking to get some 275-70-17 on my 01 dbl cab with a 2.5" lift. Any info. Would be greatly appreciated...

Everyone here will have 2 things, and one of those things will be an asshole. Any of those tires in that size will look great on your truck. Which one you choose depends on what terrain you will be using it on and how much comfort and fuel economy you are willing to sacrifice for looks and offload performance. There are also many different kinds of Mickey Thompson tread patterns. There are a bazillion reviews here and on sites like Tirerack, DiscountTire, 1010Tires, etc. Wider tires float more and narrower tires bite harder and cut through things like slush and standing water much better.

Mickeys have a bit of a reputation of being a little overpriced and wearing relatively quickly. I like BFGs personally, but like it says, it's a personal choice.

Check out the Toyo Open Country RT. They are a good mix between AT and MT tires. I am looking at replacing the crap stock tires on my wifes Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.
