I am at almost 50K miles on my current set of KO's and am looking for a replacement for my '02. I saw someone else running 265-75-16's..any problems with the slightly taller tire?

70 psi is way too high. You'll wear out suspension parts faster with tires that stiff. I have the same truck as you. I run 30 unloaded. 35 loaded. 10 ply tires as well.

I have experimented from 45 to 50 psi; 50 seems to be the best balance for me...I probably have about another 5 to 10K miles left on them.

Nice, at that PSI has your tire worn out evenly? Everyone seems to be recommending lower PSI's but you actually have used the tire for about 50k miles.

That sounds really good. I hope the KO2's last as much as the KO's. Hopefully there aren't any factory defects for the first batch of tires.

I got mine at Costco and have been religious with 5k mile rotations. I have dropped them as low as 15 psi for offroading numerous times and back to 50 for my normal driving.

With that being said, I am bummed about these KO2's not being available in 265-70-16.

Does anyone know if there is any updates on the March release of 265/70/17's? My stockers have about 5k left on them and need new tires ASAP. Not sure if I will be able to make it until March :(

I was quite surprised they delayed that size. It's very popular for full size trucks. Really inconvenient that they are coming out at the end of the winter.
BTW do you travel 5K in a little over a month?

No I don't travel 5k in a month, but have about that much left on them and didn't want to push them all the way to nothing before getting new ones.

I will look into that size. I have done the research on the 265/70/17 and know that they will fit perfect I guess the 275 could work too but would have to make sure I have clearance.

I want the 265/70/17 because of the smaller size it's closer to stock and I think that will make it better for towing. They are also going to have them in a C load so lighter but have the 3 ply sidewalls. This would make me have 2 sets of tires. I run 285/75/16 Duratracs E load for wheeling but picked up a trail rig that will need to be towed.

The ONLY size that will have the C load tire is the 265/70/17 and these weigh a considerable amount less than any others bc the others are all E load. Crazy how they waited until March to release this specific tire size/load!

I wish we displayed more detailed information as well. We are in the process of revamping our websites so hopefully we'll see some changes in this area.
