Is this what your talking about, interesting.

If the tire has clean out problems, just keep the rev's up, spin the snow or muck off.

I just bought a set of 265/75/16 KO2's. I had the stock 245/75 dungflops. It may not be a great snow tire to some but it has to be miles better than the stockers. Looking forward to the winter (sort of) to try these out!

I got E, but that's the only choice for a 265/75-16 so far.

If you don't need tires immediately, wait till Discount Tire Direct runs its $100 off $400 purchase promo.

I got a set of the 265/75r16s shipped to the house for $612! Just place two orders of 2 tires to get $200 off the set.

I got mine install last week on 265/70/17 load E, I couldn't get them in load C here in Mexico but I got a pretty good deal. they are a little heavy but I really like the grip on them so far. I put about 60km of dirt road and they handle really good

So, my buddy @TAC1 ordered a set of BFG/KO2 size 34" x 10.50 R17" I'm truly in love with this size, cant wait to get them...!!! Here are a few pictures of them next to a 285/75 R16". As of right now I haven't bought them, but it will for sure be my next tire..!!

What others sizes on the 16 in rim work well with the taco.
265/75/16 E1 rubs on the front springs. This size seem to be popular size amongst trucks.
I've noticed that braking with the 265/75/16 E1 causes pulsing of the breaks as if the tire is too heavy or to big. I've only noticed this if you air up past 50 psi.

Was thinking of going down to a different size or load range on the 16 in rim.

Ideas or suggestions on this subject, would be helpful.
    Thanks

I don't have any rubbing or pulsing issues with my 265/75-16. But if you wanted the 265/70-16 is what plenty of these come with stock. Unsure about anything else.

What kind of pulsing to the brakes are you talking about? Similar to ABS kicking in?

Honestly I don't think you'll find anything other than loadrange E.

I think I'm honestly going to be going with Duractracs, even though I'd really like to buy these AT KO2s. I want to go with a load range that's appropriate for this truck and E just doesn't make any sense.

I have this size and the only rubbing is when its full cocked left or right, and its wheel well not springs.
No pulsing, no throbbing. I am stock as well. The only thing i plan to do is got some 6112's up front to raise the nose for the dirt and the rubbing should also go away from what i am told. I also only run 36psi all the way around. Rides really good.

The only reason they are e rated is for the sidewall. And later on they will have more availability in the load ratings but the side walls will not be as strong as it would be with E rated. I had some toyo a/t 2 they were great tires but when I ran over a little rock and the sidewall punctured i decided that I needed a better side wall for the little off roading that I do.

Must be the ABS system pulsing , and I believe it rubs when u cock hard to the left or right.
Right now it's toss up between duratacs and the ko2s.
wish I had more info on snow traction.
I have always like bfg for the stiff sidewalls. Side wall plys are a must for off roading and rock climbing. Even in the city, I feel better with more side wall protection.
    Curb checks happen frequently.

I'll have to try 36 psi with my silent Armour.
Right now cash flow is low and tires are the least of my problems , I'm just figuring out a head of time what I want.

Hopefully prices or rebates will become better as time goes by.

I wanted to go with the duratracs but quite a few people including two people I personally know complained about the duratracs and how they don't wear well.

I noticed they wore poorly too. It's seems as they have a softer rubber compound.

I'm looking for a tire that can handle gravel well (chip resistance) and has good snow grip, nothing real deep.

Any rubbing with the 34" x 10.5 R17? Does he have a CMC?

    Yes sir
Both the duratracs and KO2's will perform well in snow. But at the same time it really depends on what kind of snow your driving through, wind packed snow and a fresh snowfall are two very different things to drive through for example. As far as gravel roads, I've been very satisfied with my KO's so far!

We never bolted them up, just mounted the tire. These are for my truck, not his. My truck does not have the CMC done, haven't needed to.
