Possibly, but its important to run the correct pressure for tire wear as well as for traction/safety.

i always had my tires aired at 40 on my last set and they wore pretty evenly until the end of their tread life when they started to wear on the outside edges more

275/70R 16...went with these for the "D" rating, 3lbs less per tire, and they fit nicely with a leveled truck.

I didn't see those before I ordered my 265/75R16s, I would have liked a lighter weight tire. But I guess the weight is marginal and I do like a bit taller tire so I guess I'm happy with them.

    Thanks bannerman
I brought it back to DTD to have them checked out. They lowered to 32 and the ride is much better.

mileage or miles before they wear out?

I don't think anyone has pushed them very far yet. Mine have 2,000 miles and are wearing like iron. I still see the serial number on the outer lugs on the front tires (barely) and the rears look brand new. I run mine at 35 psi too so it's not like they've just not wearing in those spots... I would expect no less than 60,000 at this rate, but I will probably replace them just before the winter between 40 - 50k and rotate them back in for summer-only use just to kill them off.

    miles before they wear out!

I decided since I've already put almost 50k on the truck maybe i should just get these at around 800 instead of 1200 dollar Toyo RTs

Hoping to see if you fellas can give me some help? I have been in the market for some new tread and want a beefy looking A/T tire that does well in some snow conditions. I live up in big bear aka(mountains) so we get snow here . I drive a 99' 3.4 with a 2.5 bilstien lift, toytec coil over and aal in the back with bilstiens. I am running a 265/75/16 right now with the second gen trd wheels on there. I want to go to a bigger tire 285/75/16. From what I have found the ko2's seem like a good tire but iv read mixed reviews for snow? Also from experience would I have issues going up to the 285's? Possibly need some spacers? I don't really do to much off roading it's mainly just a around town truck. Thank for any help I'm still trying to learn about all this stuff.

I have put over 12,000 km on mine, had them rotate at 10K km and haven't seen much wear on them. I run them at 32 psi and been amazing on wet roads and dirt/gravel road
    265/75/17 with bilis 5100 set at 0.75"

Do you guys feel the whole truck vibrates at high speed, over 60 mph?
I have the tires aired at 32 and very good traction, but the whole truck vibrates if i go over 60. The passenger's seat vibrates all the time and can see it clearly.

Mine vibrates a little at 75mph and up, it's do to one of the rear tires runout being off by a tiny bit. I had discount tire rebalance everything and test the runout, and that was the cause. Three of the 4 tires are near perfect, 1 rear tire is not 100% perfect, causing the very slight vibe at high speed.

    Thanks

I took it back and they rebalanced. Everything is good now. Loving these tires. Handling great in the rains/wet road.

No rubbing issues? What year is your Taco? I have the same Taco mine is a 2014 and want to get the exact same tites. Just don't want the 70's to rub. Otherwise I'll just go with the 265/65/17's

Mines a 2012 DCLB Sport. No rubbing issues at all. Mounted and balanced on the stock TRD sport wheels with no vibration and no problems. Stock suspension so far. The tires to me are great with just a little more road noise but nothing too loud.
