Drove around all night on the KO2, cant believe how nice they ride, granted I did go from MT's to street tires to an A/T

    265/70/17. KO2. C. Lost almost 1 mpg.
A little more sluggish in acceleration compared to the Dueler AT's. Much better ride and wet handling. Much better look.image.jpg

    I ordered KO2's 265/75R16 for my Taco from BJ's. I paid $820 ($70 coupon, with tax).

I was a hesitant about getting a E-Rated tire, but I talked to a few member who had the same truck as me (2.7L, Access Cab) with the same tire size and those who have installed them liked the stiffer sidewall.

You'll have to let me know what you think of them cause I got a 2016 5 speed 4 cylinder and was considering that size also!!!!

What's the down side to a E rated tire?

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but this tire makes the 4.0L feel slow. I'm pretty sure it's a whole 15 pounds heavier than the stock TRD OR tires.

Well they weigh like 53 lbs each vs. a stock P rated tires at like 32 lbs each. So just a lot heaver and usually kill the gas mileage!

I never thought it was that bad on those. I have 285/70/17 load range E on my v8 4Runner and really didn't feel a difference. But mines full time 4wd. So Mpgs was never the best anyways.

    the 245 Dunlop AT20 are P-Rate and 4 ply (tread) and the LT265 KO2 are 10ply (tread).
    AT20's also weight 32lbs to the KO2s at 53lbs.
    AT20s are 30.5" and KO2s are 31.6"

FWIW my buddy just put them on his Dodge recent. We drove 30-40 miles on some nasty roads with anywhere from 2-5 inches of snow looking for lion tracks and those tires kicked ass.

These would be my next tire if they made 265/75/16 in load range C.

Damn all these pictures in the snow making me jealous. Can't wait to test mine out but it's like a Damn heat wave here in the Northeast. Interested to see how they stack up against the cooper atw's I just put on the wife's T4R in winter conditions.

5100's all around with OME 884 at 0. Weathertechs, Carhartt seat covers. BFG KO2's 265/70/17. T4R SEMA wheels. 18% tint on front windows. General Springs HD 4 leaf pack, Leer 100 XR shell.
just got my 265/70/17 c's on today. replaced the cooper atp p rated.

first impressions, slightly louder, I hear the sucking sound when cornering slow. doesnt bother me at all. slightly louder but the atp's didnt wear all that well and they were noisy. they are stiffer (duh) and I can feel it. they are heavier (duh) and I can feel it. nothing life changing and its too early to tell if I like the changes or not. they were noticeable though to me.

The tires look great and I have received several compliments on day 1 alone. my neighbor came over to sniff them out tonight. Anxious to see how they work for me. Its a tire so nothing thats life changing. If I love the performance as much as the look I'll buy again. If not I'll sell em for what I can get and try something else. did I mention they look like a tire for a truck?
