I'm probably not the right person to answer since I don't wheel often, but have had the 285s (e rating) on the truck for around 8k miles now (with 2 rotations) and honestly cannot tell that the treads have worn down at all, still look brand new. They replaced c load duratracs that only lasted ~1500 miles before 2 were found to be out-of-round, they were sent back to goodyear and exchanged for the k02s. There hasn't been a noticeable change in mpg for me going from c - e load and have found the ko2s to be alot quieter on the road.

Friend of mine at work ran original KOs several years ago and stated that they wore out extremely fast which made me hesitant to try the ko2s, but so far I've been impressed and am hoping they continue to wear slowly.

I've had similar results. I'm at 11,000 miles and show literally no signs of wear.

@Greensystemsgo I have about 6k miles on my K02's, theyve now seen snow, rocks, and sand and have impressed me in all situations (i'm nofords08 BTW havent talked to you in forever) I like them better than any other tire I've run on my tacoma. They are soft though, on my heavy Tundra idk if i'll get more than 3 years out of them which is fine with me.

How quiet and comfortable are these compared to the Goodyear's that come with the truck? The Goodyear's are super smooth and quiet.

Are these going to hum on the highway? Or feel like I'm driving on knobby mudders when driving slowly?

For the aggressive nature of these tires they are by far the quietest tires I've ran and do not feel like mudders when driving slow. Definitely doesn't have that knobby feeling. I've had A/T duratracs, coopers, generals and bfgs between my F250 and Tacoma and these are by far the smoothest and longest lasting tire between them all. Be sure to follow your regular rotation schedule as you should with all A/T and M/T to keep them quiet and smooth.

Very quiet. Less so then my stock Dunlop's on concrete of portions of highways to be honest

Do these come in "C load" rated anymore?

I can't seem to find any online.

I was looking at 265/75/16's. I don't have lift and wasn't trying to buy new rims. I heard these fit.

There should be some C rated tires. Maybe that load isn't offered in that size though

Looks like BFG doesn't offer C load in that size.

You guys still think the E load tires are worth it (considering comfort and noise)?

edit: I'm convincing myself to get them more and more each time I look at them. So the real question is:

    LT265/70R16/E 121 S
    OR
    slightly larger:
    LT265/75R16/E 123 R

Pros and cons? will the larger possibly rub?

I understand the LT275/70R16/D will fit on the stock rims, at least on the 2016 16" wheels... Any idea how much of a difference the D load will make over the E load? I'm not sure if I want to put 17" TRD wheels on to get a C load KO2 or stick with the stock wheels which aren't bad looking and go with a D load.

I honestly couldn't tell you. I didnt realize this was an option. The 275 should be wider? Right?

    Heard of any rubbing issues?

It would be wider. I did see in at least one thread someone say they had no issues with that set up without a lift. Tire Rack told me this will work with no issues completely stock. They said this is the biggest you can go without a lift.

    Not enough...
    pics please?

I am in a market for a new set. 265/70/16 BFG A/T KO that came stock on my truck is wearing out at 34K miles. Well, front passenger side is wearing out, most likely due to messed up alignment.
I have a Baja with a 1.75" factory lift and will most likely get KO2's at 285/70/16... or maybe 285/75/16, if that would fit on the TRD 16" fake beadlock wheels.

Going on a 1200 mile trip with the family in a couple of weeks, so I should probably take care of the tires before that.
