That's the max, it's way too high for vehicles our size. Yes, you should run them at an appropriate pressure to your truck's weight. If you run them at 80 psi it'll be like riding on steel wheels.

Alright, Just want to confirm, because I thought 285x70 was smaller than 34x10.5. at least that is what the Tire Calculator shows. I currently have 275x70 in the BFG, and was wanting a taller tire, but if the 34 isn't taller than 285x70 in the KO2s, then It sounds like my 275x70 will probably be the same height, right?
Rim is a 17 if that helps...

Here are the specs of both tires from tiresize.com. The one on the left is 285/70/R17 and the one on the right is 34x10.50/R17. Hope this helps.

So that makes it seem that the 34x10.5 is taller, but after reading a few posts, people are claiming the 34 is really barely a 33 and the 285 is the taller tire. Weird.

KO2s run small. Not the best way of measuring, but my 265/75/16 measured 30.5" tall under the weight of my truck. I just installed the 34/10.5/17 KO2s and they measure 32.5", again under the weight of my truck.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/255-85-r16-owners-experience.155849/page-195#post-14306230
I found this post measuring his 285/70/17 under the weight of his truck and it looks like it measures 31.5”. That's under the weight of a much heavier F250.

With no weight, probably 0.5-0.75" taller. Again, not scientific by any means, but it's just a rough measurement to give you an idea because I was questioning the KO2 heights as well.

I apologize in advance but I frankly don't have the time to read through all the pages here to see if the topic has already been discussed but...what are people airing these down to comfortably? I have 295/75/16 and trying to get an idea of where should I cut off airing down further.

You could go lower, I just never had the need to. The Toyota alloys home a bead very well, I'm sure if you wanted to you could go lower

I'm just curious for deep soft snow that people are airing down under 10. I don't know if I'd feel comfortable that low but would need to get super low for that snow trail.

So im debating 265/70 & 275/70 with 2 inch lift, dont think either would look bad with the lift so... is anyone regearing with the larger/heavier 275's or just taking a hit in the power?

10psi if you're not trying to hoon around. 15-20 for trails would be more than safe. I go 20 if I'm moving quickly on trails.
