So what i heard from the tire guy is true.. He told me that I should go with the Ko2's because the Falken's have the problem of trying to get them balanced.

E Load Falken Wildpeak AT3W's on my work truck have been glass smooth since day one, now with 12,000 miles and still looking pretty new. They see severe off-road use on a heavy 3/4 ton truck. I roasted multiple sets of BFG KO's in the same conditions in a little over 15,000 miles. Not even the remotest question in my mind that the Wildpeaks are far superior in every way to the KBro2's. The only reason there is a set on my personal truck is that they came with the truck brand new when I bought it.

Until a mandatory contract interfered with my plans, I was replacing all of my fleet vehicle off-road tires with the Wildpeaks.

I forgot to mention that. They are hard to balance. I have one or two that simply won’t balance. Not horrible, but clearly a vibration. I can tell every time I rotate. I’ve had them balanced twice. Last time at Rahal Toyota, the tech that did my tires said his Tacoma has falkens and he has issues balancing them.

    Some really cool shit
Interesting. My KM2's have 42,000 miles on them, and have been great off road. They still have a couple thousand left and will probably get another set. Unless the KM3's come out in time.

Look into the Cooper ST maxx tires...

I ran the bfg ko2s for 43k miles. They were stiff. Slippery. And made a fair amount of noise in the road towards the end. They took a bunch of weight and was a hassle to balance. Plus weak sidewalls

I’ll never get KO2’s again, very nice looking tire just not impressed at all with the life of them. Luckily I scored a set of brand new DURATRACS for free.

KO2s are way overrated for the price.

K02's suck in the rain. I have had KO's or KO2's on my last 10 trucks and SUV's, switched now to the Wildpeaks and would never switch back. Plus the wild peaks are cheaper so that is another plus.

Buy the KO2 if you like getting 16 mpg.I have C rated Wildpeaks now and they are very very good tires for almost half the price of BFG.

The falkens only come in a P rated or LT E rated.

I have 2500miles on my 265-75/16wilpeaks And I’m really happy. I bought online at tirebuyer.com and had the local Firestone do the install. I was right at $600 all in. They are quiet and ride really nice. On stock wheels.

They do come in C rated in some 15" sizes.

I've had both. Nismo Frontier had K02 and the TRD has Falkens. Both are great tires and you'd be happy with either. I have no experience with either in snow. The K02 honestly seem quieter to me but either are perfectly fine for daily use. Both good in rain while giving the Falkens the edge in that department. Both proven off road more than what I have put them through. Price is a good bit different and for me the BFG aren't worth the extra coin over the Falkens. So I vote Falken!

I'm not sure how you can say they have weak sidewalls. I've beat on my current set for 30k miles and the desert is a harsh place on sideswalls. For my dry environment ko2s have been awesome. Even took them for some snow wheeling a few times without issue. I can't help with the wildpeaks though, no personal experience. Haven't even seen them in person. Bfg and general rule the desert world.
