Rubbing compound will work, I'd do it by hand though. If your orbital has adjustable speed, set it to the absolute lowest speed, otherwise don't use a buffer, you will burn the plastic.

When I do mine, I use my polisher on the absolute lowest setting with a foam pad and I use my normal compounds like Meguiars Ultimate Compound or Polish. Both will work. Plastic is very soft though and you have to be careful not to burn, do not focus on any one point with your buffer or you'll regret it.

Also, Steve, just wanted to make sure, but do you have a torx bit set (small) or at least an allen key set to get the screws off the back of the housings holding the lights together. Its a torx head but allen keys will work, I've used them before.

I've got several torx screwdrivers. Will try and make sure I've got the right size on hand.

    I'll be there.

King Egg Roll opens at 8, so I'll be there shortly after that :D

I can help you guys out with the BHLM, but I'll also be working on my rear door arm rests.

I'm curious, what is it that you do not like about the Krylon Fusion paints?
On the flip side, any particular type of paint recommended?

Its nothing against the paint itself. I'm against the tards that take their lights apart and paint right over the chrome. If you want to buy Fusion, by all means buy it, but we're still gonna do it right and sand em down :) I think the last set I did I bought the cheapest flat black on the shelf. Works fine if done correctly.

Hmm, I may try to make it for this. I won't do a BHLM, but maybe fix my retrofit or do my other retrofit. Anyone have any experience with retros, specifically FX-R's?
