    Hi everyone, I'm new around here and im getting my new Black Taco DC TRD sport in a few weeks. (Canada)

    Like all new owners I have been looking at mods and really wanted to do the BHLM on my 2010 but looking at the website tonight (toyota.ca) I see mine will come with the black headlamp surround (attached pic), isnt this the same as the BHLM or am I missing something?

    2009 toyota tacoma trd modified
    CAI, dynomax turbo exhaust system,tinted windows medium on the fronts to match the backs, hid kit hi and low beam, pop and lock tailgate, painted calipers red with caliper paint, put 2.25' leveling kit in front and a 1" block in the rear. its now level and rides WAY better (readylift)>way nicer than the revtek my buddy has i think its garbage imo<, hurst "T" shifter, 18 x 10 american racing (can't remember the name) chrome rims with badass 5 inch lip :), 12 inch rockford fosgate punch with rockford fosgate 600 watt amp, bushwacker fender flares (cheaper than replacing the one i wrecked lol) ,kc light bar with kc lights, toyota aluminum stamped skid plate, and a skull front license plate. More mods to come, thinking a 6 inch lift and arb bumper etc etc.
    and 09's mine's an 09 with that and I actually like it better than some of the BHLM's i have seen i find that some are way to dark. This here just has the right touch i think its almost kinna like a gun metal chrome look. Coupled with low and HI beam hids they're freaken sweet.

    Hey Skulltacoma, I'm in Calgary too, can you recommend anywhere to buy aftermarket items locally such as rims? I'm getting frustrated with the extortionate dealer prices.

    Also in your picture are those stock lights or have you changed them at all!

    i had the BHLM on my X-Runner and now i have a 2010 with the gunmetal, and honestly, i miss the BHLM, so i think soon i'll be in the market for trade-zees

    u'd have to get them off someone w/ an 09-10, try ebay, or dealer. me and a guy on here did a swap, sort of. he bought be sme bhlm off ebay, sent them to me, and i boxed my 09s up and sent them to him. i got my bhlm (instead of doing them again) and he got his 09 lights.
