Hey I'm doing the BHLM today and I've been wondering what everyone does with their lenses inside? Do you tint them or just leave them as is?

leave the lense IMO. It is plenty dark after blacking the inside out.

Why would one want to tint the lens and diminish the amount of light showing the way?

well when doing the BHLM you paint the inside of the light. so all the chrome inside the light. you have to take the lense completely off. i would suggest just giving it a good cleaning with some simple green or another multi purpose cleaner and leave the leanse alone until you are ready to seal it back together.

I did all of them with Rustolium flat black spraypaint. In my opinion Rustolium is better than Krylon
