Maybe some good trails in the chattahoochee national forest?

There are some fun trails at Amicalola. Not too far from Big Canoe.

Take Steve Tate Rd. (main rd that Big Canoe is one) north, Turn right on 136, Left on 183, Right at fork onto 52. Go about 8 miles and turn left onto Nimblewill Church Rd. Turn left at the Church onto Nimblewill gap Rd. It will eventually turn to a gravel FS-rd. Once you get to the top, take the trail to the left with all the rocks at the beginning. It's not too hard but it's fun. You will end inside Amicalola Falls State park.
