Allen Bradley's new plcs have been giving us a fit with failed outputs and random hard faults and dumped programs. I blame it on that squeeze together connection rather than the older slot style.

Our slcs don't have that problem

I know which dealership you are going to. Do you trust these guys more than the other guys in the greater area? You know who I'm referring to I assume.

Maybe stupid question, but, have all of you guys that performed the recall have received a loaner for the day?

I can’t be without a car... I use it for work...

what type of loaner have you received? Random or another truck? I carry tools...

    Thanks!

I got a Corolla, and had to postpone the service a week and a half to get it. LOL

Get mine done next Monday specifically told them I will need a loner truck while this is being done. Last time at same dealer they gave me a brand new loner Tundra with like 500 miles on it was an loaded OR trim. I’m currently rubbing my hands in anticipation of getting my hands on another Tundra for the day.

The dealer did my recall without asking or telling me 6 days ago, I’m currently broke down on the freeway. Be careful with this one. I don’t know the cause yet but the truck started bogging down and lost power and I had to pull over and shut it off. If I had a fuller tank of gas when I dropped it off it would have prevented them from doing this f—ing recall.

All I can say from the experience driving my 2020 vs a buddies 2019 with the same engine, and auto, my 2020 runs much stronger. Maybe with this fuel pump change, there is something to it.
