Big Game Hunting - 2013

Drew a late rifle mule deer tag here in NV. Oct 22 - Nov 5. Going to be a great hunt.

 

Gonna be chasing this guy around

 

I drew mid in NV. Oct 15-28 rifle for mule. Getting excited.

 

What area did you draw? I got a 6 tag.

 

Unit 101-109. You?

 

6, So 061-064 and 067/068. 10 is a tough hunt, my boss drew the same tag you have.

 

Nice. I think my buddy got the same as you but early.

 

Season opened today and he, along with the cows and other bulls, are on a neighbor's place right down the road that aren't hunting friendly. Dammit.

 

Deer Sept 7th bow or crossbow.

 

This is my baby, Killed her in Idaho.


But this hunting season Ill be going to Alaska to hunt Big horn Sheep, Wolf, Bear, and Caribou. Pretty excited. And of course Ill be hunting local for deer.

 

Dang you shoot him from the road? Haha

Little confused as to why he has absolutely no color to his antlers, was this on a ranch?

 

Didnt pull anything special for my hopefully last year in Cali. Another San Diego Buck tag that ill work my ass off to try and fill while avoiding crowds.

If all goes well next year itll be a Idaho hunt on my own piece of property!

 

Arizona early archery bull elk for me!!!

 

After elk I'm going to try to get a bear. Then Archery Deer in December and January.

 

I need to move down south. We dont get to start until Oct 5th and thats just archery.

 

Got a new buck on my cameras, I think I might focus on him this year..

 

Just passed on a couple bulls on one stalk and got busted on another this morning. First archery stalks, stuff is freaking intense!

 

Its pretty intense, first stalks are the best! Hope you stick one soon man.

 

Such a learning curve lol. So much different from centerfire. Just crossing my fingers I didn't spook them off our property.
