Going to a dealer to look at buying a 2010 4x4, 4cyl, manual as a second vehicle. My primary is a 2012 4runner Limited. Can't say I've ever been in the cab of a Taco.
My question is at 6'6" 275 will I fit and be comfortable? I realize this is pretty subjective but I fit perfectly well in my 4runner w a sunroof, though the Limited's seat a very adjustable. Just asking before I visit the dealer. Thanks

May be tight. My buddy is about your size and he can fit in my Tacoma fine, but its definitely a little tight for him. He bought a tundra. Only one way to find out though.

I'm 6'3" and find it tight. The pedal box is designed for people with size 8 feet. Its annoying (at least with a manual).

No you wont fit comfortable at all,Tacoma's are small headroom wise, and the seats are not good for large folks.

6'8" 235lbs here. I am actually pretty comfortable in mine. I was originally looking at a 2005 tundra. I had less leg room in the tundra than in the tacoma because of the big door panel and center console. So I bought the tacoma that day. I fit better in my tacoma than most any other car or truck I have been in or driven.

Yeah big shoes aren't fun while driving. I wear a size 16 and usually won't wear shoes while driving any car. Too easy to hit the gas while braking. And not enough height really.

Maybe the differing opinions have to do with builds... Some have more leg than torso, others more torso than leg. I dunno, I'm only 6'1 and have pretty short legs.

A friend (6'6) who was a tech hopped in the passenger side of my truck and we drove a bit to datalog with his techstream laptop. He looked VERY uncomfortable.

Not sure if it matters, but I THINK single/regular cabs have the widest doors.
I remember someone made a thread about measuring the doors on reg cabs vs access cab front doors, and double cab front doors.

6’5” 250lbs and it’s comfortable for me, DC Auto, I’m mostly legs, 13 shoe. Rear view mirror takes up a lot of my view but there’s a mod for that.. I’d still go to the dealer and check it out for yourself. Doesn’t cost anything. Good luck

If ur talking about the @ImMrYo mirror lift bracket, DO IT.

I'm shorter but all torso and the OEM mirror location is RIGHT in my field of view and blocks the highway merging vehicles on the onramp and is annoying trying to scan ahead and to the right. Pita on right turns.
The lift bracket totally fixes this. I've had mine for years now and it's amazing.

Edit, I see u said no cost... Flipping the mirror helps some, but nothing like the lift bracket

I'm 6'4" 240lbs and I fit comfortably in my 02 DC Pre Runner . I've got to have the seat adjusted all the way back and the steering wheel adjusted upwards

Every once and awhile though as I'm entering the cab I thump my head pretty good on the door opening

This was a requirement for me being 6'3" with a long neck, my head is just below the liner. I was getting very annoyed with the mirror, it was the only problem I had with the interior.

I fixed it with the birddawg rear view mirror riser with RAM mount on it.

    :cookiemonster:

Has anyone else noticed they changed the new 3rd gens cab size? I dont fit at all in the 2018 - 2019 models. My head has to be sideways almost to sit in it. They seemed to have changed the cab size drastically. I asked the sales guy to help me adjust the seat so I could sit in it. He said 'I dont think you fit', after we both tried every switch and button to move the seat down and back.

Just like any vehicle. You gotta sit in it to see if you find it comfortable for you. No matter if it's a Tacoma or a Tundra. Asking others their opinion won't guarantee that it's right for you. You gotta sit in it and drive it to be sure.
    Good Luck.
