hahah, yeah im glad we didnt flip it then for sure its totaled. Ive seen em on the 96-04 tacos/runners, didnt ever think it'd happen. He bought new upper and lower bj's, bearings and axle shafts from oreillys not too long ago.
Lmk if you do score the rims. try check if the full size spare is a sequoia alum rim too.

yeah its cool that you did it, but cant do it cause it may be illegal or a safety hazard. If you got hassled once, you'll probably get hasseled again…so it probably would be good to only run it once in awhile. its kinda like all those add ons we buy that say "off road use only" "for show use only, "not legal in 50 states"….we kinda get the hint but we do em anyway. Wide tires and no mud flaps would be an easier target…its illegal but we still do it anyways. lol

 

bwaahahahah…this is me going up keauhou double lanes in my old skool. from the light…1st, 2nd, 3rd she going. I gotta keep em in 3rd and get it into 4th around 60-70…but if I do put it into 4th, sometimes get the lag that brings me back down to 50-60…and everyones flying by. Its not like the taco where I can be carrying a trailer and scoop past everyone. And even if im in the right lane always gonna have the people driving by and the one that wants to pace you…and its not like I can throw it into 2nd and scream it past.


But last night, I was one of those cautious drivers doing 5 under and not 2 miles over, trying not to get a dui. Cops, cops all over.

 

nope, only water. gotta wait for next weekend for be little more thick n soupy. last weekend was dry as heck, this time only get water on the rd. Was out south the other day and get mud. should check out above KaLae or out pahala side.

its the rangers that are hired from UH that are stopping people from going up. dont think pro-tmt has people hassling anyone and if anything its the protectors hassling people, but hey, from my point theyre just educating. Theyre more of a presence now.

kermit the frog singed off on that emergency rule for everyones safety…but thats bullshit. He says roads to remain open for all hawaii people…but that fucking clown goes and shuts it off for certain amount of hours. Should just put a gate and big boulders blocking the whole road…make those fuckers take down the telescopes and hike it down the mountain and if they wanna go observe, walk that fukka. I dont understand how they can tell Kona Lua they need to remove the bathrooms from the 9k elevation, yet the same company, under contract by the state, has portable toilets up near the summit in different areas. The state and county already like putting up gates and blocking access(ie kiholo, kohanaiki, kawas, keaukaha, g rd/flume rd up kulani, puu oo trail).

like I say, fck it, do what feels right….not like im gonna be around for ever.

maybe, but thats why I bought moog and koyo. For my foreign cars I dont like to get the cheap brands….probably why. I needed a axle seal for my other truck…I bought it from oreillys masterpro and it lasted just under a month, then the pinion shaft broke.

I wish I went up last sunday with you guys. Always makes me sick watching the vids and not having been there lol. We went thru last night and it was freakin muddy. Was giving me hard rubs in the middle part.
