    it's a small shop that specializes in mostly imports/toyota stuff their a regular repair place that stocks toytec and the like.... but the yonger crowd seems to like to hang there. ask Chris (Aka Madtaco09)

    Normally you use a ball joint press to get those out/in. I know how to weld but not really good enough to be confident to do it for someone else. What are you doing?

    just shooting ideas around... By christmas I'm gonna have AP 1" uniball UCA's coming in, and eventually I'm gonna have AP's front tube/plate hybrid bumper

    and I'm sure as shit not gonna pay a shop to do the installs anymore...done shelling out money for shops that have no idea what theyre doing. (SUCKS having little/no true offroad shops here :mad:)

    The shop I had install my expo leaf springs told me that I had the wrong leaf pack for the truck, that there were "too many overload leafs" and that I'd be stupid to put them on....


    front bumper's gonna require cutting the bumper frame bar and welding in some end tabs, and the UCA install is gonna require removal of the ball joint to get the uniball in

    I can help with the ucas but the bumper is gonna need more professional help IMHO I'll talk to the guy that's doing my bumper he'd be game I bet!

    dont have any idea how dark im going to go on my truck? any ideas gonna tint my windows on friday. anyone got in trouble with the cops for dark tint? really would like the feed back?:confused::confused:

    I went with 35, didn't want another reason to get pulled over;
    And I can actually see shit at night. A friend of mine went 5 on 5 and has to drive with his windows down at night

    I tinted my driver and passenger front windows to 35%. Rear windows at 20% and a 5% "banner" on the windshield. From what I understand the law gives leeway to 29% for the front side windows, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

    safety allows a +/- of up to 6%, but it kind of depends on the shop (IIRC, don't quote me on this)

    I have a 5% strip up top too, makes the TW sticker that much awesome-er :cookiemonster:

    15 for the two front windows, add 5 over the 5 I got in the back and a longer windshield strip. No windshield because we drive a lot at night. Haha
