The time has come to do some regular maintenance and I’m sure some of you are in the same boat. I figured it would be a good chance to get some others together that have to do the same. Therefore, we can all help and learn. I’m talking spark plugs, fluid changes, etc. Date will be March 11th, weather permitting. If rained out, I will move it to April 1st.

    Parking
I can fit between 5 and 6 trucks in my driveway. It is a one lane driveway, so once you’re in, you’re in. There is no getting out unless whoever is behind you backs up. There is pretty much unlimited parking on the street, but make sure your truck is locked up and there are no valuables in the bed. If we have trucks parked down the driveway to the street, I’m sure there wouldn’t be any issues. The driveway is two slabs of concrete with grass in the middle, so you need to get creative to use jack stands. However, it can be done.

    upload_2017-2-14_14-25-45.jpg

    Clean-up
If you’re going to be taking fluids out of your truck, please have a way to pack them up and take them with you.

    Food
I’ll fire up the smoker and make a pork butt and some tri tip. We can make sandwiches or tacos; you can choose your own adventure. I just ask that people bring sides, beverages, their own beer etc. I’ll have the BBQ out for people to use as they please so if you want to make something special for yourself feel free.

    Tools
I have a 4 ton floor jack and some jack stands I’ll throw out for people to use, as well as wrenches and sockets I can have out. I highly suggest you bring your own tools so it is not a mess and you don’t have to wait to use people’s things.

    Etiquette
Don’t be a dick. I have two dogs and one’s an asshole, so bringing dogs won’t be the best idea. If you indulge too much, don’t drive. Trucks can be left behind in our driveway behind our gate and picked up in the morning. We like to have fun, responsibly.

PS: Don’t fall asleep with your shoes on.
