Its not that bad. I wrench for a living lol. And I'm hoping the crank pulley will come off easy since I'm a manual trans

EDIT: sorry for the BS. Wont do it at your place, especially since I live a ways away

I've done a few lol. I mainly wrench on diesels at work but I work on my taco, my gfs subi, my sisters civic, my moms exploder and camry, and most of my friends cars. I'm gonna do my timing belt in probably a month or so (once I'm not freezing my ass off doing it). Hardest thing about a timing belt in my opinion is the crank pulley bolt. Not too big a deal at work, use a gun and blast it off/run it on. At home it's a lil more difficult. But that's where I'm hoping being a manual trans will help.

Where I lack is metal fab. Anyone wanna do some trade work? :D

You have a 3.4 right? Stick or auto? I wouldn't drain and fill your ac but if you want to save a few bucks im sure we could do it....

Although for shop prices that isn't bad. (My shop charges 135/hr. Then you gotta factor in parts as well. Sounds like the tech is getting shorted time or the shop has a really cheap labor rate)

3.4 auto. Only reason I like taking it to the shop is to have peace of mind in case something gets fucked

How late y'all plan to be wrenching? Going to try and get over at some point. Don't have anything needing on my truck but gladly get my hands dirty helping out if I can make it over.

Updated OP with who is coming/maybes. I'll send out my address later this week to whoever is confirmed.

If you come, bring a small side or something to share. BYOB, but I'll get some extra. I'll be doing ribs and a pork butt.
