Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Aftermarket a-arms and a drop bracket lift is about the only thing you can do since the body lift is welded on.

You could also do a 3" suspension but you would still need the a-arm and possibly spindles. you would also have to lower the rear.

You can go that route too. What sucks is you're missing the a-arms. You can keep an eye out in the BST section to see if anyone is selling stock ones.

I am by no meas saying you HAVE to do this. I just want to make you aware that if/when that lift fails, you're going to be screwed. It was discountinued shortly after it hit the market and the parts cannot be fixed or replaced. That's the forth one I've seen.

I've seen two of the the four fail. Yours hasn't from what I can tell. Keep an eye on the strut above the spindle. That's where they fail. It will begin to leak.

Hey, if you are looking to get some A-Arms, I got a set of stock ones from my 04, which I replaced with TC's. If you are interested shoot me a PM.

You could just get smaller leaf spring hangers, instead of taking leaf's out.

being 16 and having minimal mechanical skils (no offense meant) i would sell or trade to a redneck for a more stockish taco.. ive never seen that lift but i wouldnt drive something that looked like that. if you could get rid of the lift altogether, for another lift, and eliminate the body lift you would be pretty set. Good luck and keep us posted.

ya i've decided that since it hasn't failed yet( nock on wood) it will probally be fine. it also means that the previous owner was truthfull. he said he didnt really 4x4 at all. i think ill leave it alone mabey sell it in a few years and start all over with a new one are at least one that has a good kind of lift on it. I love tacomas and will stick with them( untill i need a v8) but i will never drive one that has less than a 4 in lift:D

The purpose of this or was that overlooked? If it is looking at skirts you are perfect. I think smaller tires may fit the 'bill.' ... as Hillary Clinton would say... "and you know what I mean!" :)
