Now I noticed you have no trimming done, do you even hardcore wheel? Or just mainly mud/mall? Also. is that IFS..

$700 ea diff. for gears? I think not lol... maybe $500 for a set + $250 for install.

44's require Dual transfer crawl boxes.. lol. they don't make 8.56's. I beleive if you had 44's either only rockwells / dana 60, which I think d60's lowest ration is 5.37's or something very similar.. maybe 5.29's.

wow! how much did you buy this truck for????? pretty sketchy lift set up from the looks of it, plus the body lift. my advice, as someone else mentioned attempt to find a redneck to sell this truck to, and then get the advice of someone who knows what they're looking at to accompany you while looking for your next vehicle.

I think he just called me a Red Neck

That's ok I'll wear that one with pride....

AS for the hard core comment above?
Looks like the guy above swapped the beadlocks from his hard core wheeler (Solid axle Hi-lux just out of frame right) to his DD Taco.

I don't find many here making hard core repairs ~ recovering from roll overs / blowing out stock T-cases / bending or shearing axle housings.

I'll keep the Taco for a dual sport trail ride Save the buggy for the hard core stuff.

How can you tell its a hi-lux? by just showing 1/16th of the truck.

That's how we know we're straight. Where you may see a marker light, we see a truck! :)

Clearly we aren't looking at the same image. There is no marker light.

well truthfully i picked it up for 6200. it had 147,000 when i got it and pretty much everything else thats on it now was on it when i bought it.

but everyone is saying different things. some say SELL it or your fucked. some say its fine with the driving you do. and others say its fine just once it gives out just get some others struts and do some little fab work to make them fit. so confussed:confused:

    Don't be confused...

Some folks cry and throw money at their broken truck or call mommy and daddy when things go wrong. Other buck up and fix the problem no matter what is broken. Drive it until the wheels fall off then fix it and do it again. If the TM 6" doesn't work out for you then you still have many options. Coolidge just recently went back stock from a TM 6" DB kit welding back in the missing stock crossmember.

Looks like you got a fair deal considering what the PO paid for the lift and you say the truck wasn't abused.

Might have... When I think Hilux I think diesel however, even though supposedly they came with the 22r, also. Oh and I got rides from my mother :brianr: :D

I was a student just a few months ago too. I also commented on the ifs because I don't like DB lifts. Don't let my comment get you down. I was just wondering

this kinda off subject but i really learned how BEAST these trucks are. today i was out hunting and i had to pull off the side of the of the dirt road so i could go out. anyways it was about 3.5 ft of pure powder and my truck crawled right out of it when my budy( f-350 super diseal) got stuck behind me :p.
