My front driver is barely hanging on. Let's get a group buy goin. I know a couple of friends who would be in also. Way better alternative than paying hundreds for the OEMS.

Those look beefy, and pretty cool without the white 4x4. I'd be in for a set if there is a group buy.

Those look great! Any thoughts on whether or not you could have reused the oem hardware? Any new holes to drill? And you were implying they are big enough to cover any wear marks left from the oem flaps where they rub on the fender flare?

I installed mine in, literally 5 minutes.
You do reuse a couple of the factory screws and the hardware provided is good quality.
    No new holes!
They do cover the same portion of the fender as the OE's and HuskyLiner provideds clear 3M tape to mask the painted sections if you want.
These are a great compromise re length and much better quality material.

    Good questions.

No drilling is required. The flaps, both front and rear, re-use the existing OEM screws. One factory hole is not used on each flap (it is covered by the new flap, and there is no provision to use a fastener there). They include threaded clips and washered black oxide screws, two clips and two screws per each flap. One clip actually clips to the fender flare over an existing hole, and the other you have to prop up with your fingers behind another hole and use it like a nut.

You could conceivably use the push-in fasteners with the Husky flaps, but you would need to enlarge the holes on them slightly to get it to work. The clip system may sound sort of hokey, but it works and I feel that it is at least as strong if not more strong than OEM.

The fronts do a pretty good job of concealing the wear mark caused by the factory flaps. The rears show a bit towards the top of the flap, but it is not that bad.

    Hope that helps!

    :D

Looks good ! I tore off a front mud guard while reversing onto a curb, guess I'll just replace mine with a set of these.

I bet these won't wear on the flares like the OEM since there is no movement/rubbing

Thanks to StockPlus for the pics and description....much better job than I'm doing.
I am in contact with them and I started a poll to gauge interest before I setup group buy.
Vote in the poll and I'll get things going.

Are the rears also shorter than the OEM ones like the fronts are?

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Are they flexible? That has always been my biggest complaint on the stock ones is that they are not flexible at all and should not be on a truck if they can't flex under stress.
